The First Couple - Love on the Rocks?
You have to love the drama of the title, do you not? I don’t claim to know anything about their marriage and frankly, the only people who should know about their marriage is Barack and Michelle Obama themselves (ok, and any counselor they might employee - see, more drama by me)! But a new book due out Tuesday claims to have the inside scoop on the First Couple. I don’t buy it. They author may have scrapped some news blurbs together to attempt to recreate both a story and a timeline.
The book, Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage by Christopher Andersen, talks of the Obama’s infertility, their fights over the President’s political aspirations and even their economic struggles of the early marital years. Does anyone really care about this during his administration? To be honest, I feel like this book would have more traction further into his presidency when the country feels like they have more history with the man. But still, do people really care about this? It sound pretty dull and average to me. What? A couple that fights about work, money and kids? This is a real first, PeopleMight I suggest a new title? Barack and Michelle: Portrait of a NORMAL Marriage.
This is great blogs I just hope that you dont lose your style because youre definitely one of the coolest bloggers out there.
