The Jon and Kate Plus 8 supposed infidelity scandal is all over the internet.  You can’t go anywhere without seeing Jon’s brow-beaten face or Kate’s death stare lately but I wonder if it’s all true?  After all, the next season of their hit TLC show starts in less than a week.

Good timing on the affair talk, huh?

And now that there are at least two more shows on that very same channel with families who have even MORE children, the Gosselins need to find a way to stand out.  Merely having a litter of children just isn’t enough.  You need to have MORE or be part of a religion that doesn’t allow hand-holding before marriage. Or…you can have the network start rumors about the declining state of your marriage.

I don’t know what which is a worse - if the Gosselin marriage is breaking up and how that will affect all those kids or if they went along with a network that wanted to spice up the ratings with a little torrid turpitude.  Either way, it seems that what was a great way to make enough money to raise your kids has really driven a wedge in the marriage.  Divorce with kids can never be easy, but divorce with EIGHT kids is down right impossible.

I guess we wait and see if all this affair talk simmers down after the season premiere to see assess the truth from the (reality) show.
