Recession-Proof Your Mother’s Day
Hey guys, Mother’s Day is just around the corner and if you’re married with children, it’s time to start thinking about a gift.
The economy is in the crapper, the swine flu is going to get us all and there’s no end to the misery that we call life. What will make this all better? How about endless cappucino? Yes, endless cappucino that doesn’t cost 5 bucks a pop! What magical machine could produce this sweet elixer without setting foot into a Starbucks? The Bialetti Mukka Glass Cappuccino Maker, that’s what!
How much does your wife spend a weekend in fancy coffee drinks? 10 dollars? 20 dollars? Maybe more? With the Bialetti, that cost can be greatly reduced. Imagine a gift that your wife will actually use!
The Bialetti costs about 100 bucks. Pair that with espresso and her favorite flavored syrup and you have one hell of a happy caffeine loving wife and mother! If you have a little more to spend, throw in a nice Best Mom in the World mug, a paper back copy of a book she might enjoy and some bubble bath. Then find some time to take the kids to the park while she enjoys a well desired bath and some alone time!
I recently got the Bialetti as a house-warming gift and I love it. I never would have bought it for myself (hence the reason it’s such a great gift) but I have used it just about everyday since. I have heard it’s not so great on flattop ranges, but I can get a great cup of cappuccino or a latte in about 5 minutes on my gas range. Cleaning it can be a bit tricky. I’m using a toothbrush to get in the cracks and running the unit with just water once in a while to keep the pressure valve clean.
So if you’re stumped for a Mother’s Day gift, the Bialetti might be worth a closer look for a coffee-loving mom!

As for me, it would be great to read something more concerning this theme. Thanks for sharing. I liked it a lot.
