Winterize Your Marriage
Ok, summer loving fools out there, beware. Winter is just around the corner and might I add a hardy “YEA!!!” to the season changing from humid sticky nastiness to cozy fall evenings and soon, quiet snowy nights. This is going to be our first winter in Cleveland and everyone keeps warning us how things much snow we’re in for. Again, I yell a mighty “YEA!!!”. I enjoy snow and the cuddliness that will follow. One thing that everyone that experiences winter will know is you need to have supplies ready in case you’re snowed in or get stranded. I will be the first to admit that I rely on my husband to make sure I have a scraper, blanket and supplies in my car just in case something were to happen.
This year, however, I’m going to take the pressure off my dear husband and do it for the both of us. I’ll make sure we both have what we need if the worst happens. I realized that all too often I just come to expect he does certain things in the marriage and I’m going to take this tiny little step to let him know i notice that he’s make sure I was safe for the last 7 years.
OH yeah, I will also make sure we have a bag of chocolate chips for emergency cookies and plenty of toilet paper. Another way to show I care. I could go so far as to say I’ll make sure I get up in the morning and shovel the lake effect snow off our long driveway…but I’ll let him show me how much he loves me by doing that.

I support your being prepared!
Trust me, anything that can do now to save you some grief and the urge to beat up someone/something is worth it.
