I think we often make assumptions about the word marriage & what that means for different people. I totally agree with you about wanting the fireworks in my marriage. I feel like anything less than that is sort of settling & you don't feel as alive. However, sometimes I think if my husband & I were less passionate about things we may get more things accomplished! I think the relationships that we are more passionate about help to provide more opportunities for growth & therefore don't consist of the same comfort levels or safety that possibly more "convienent" marriages do.
