So the Other Night in the Bedroom…
Like I’m going to tell you! Seriously though, sharing bedroom information with friends outside the marriage is a sensitive subject. Especially for woman. We tend to share more with girlfriends but we need to know when enough is enough. The world and your buddies don’t need your verbal bedroom cam descriptions. Here are some rules we should live by when it comes to regaling friends with private information:
1. Do not detail body parts. They do not need to be privy to exact measurements and particularities.
2. Skip the embarrassing sex stories, especially the failures.
3. Don’t share turn ons, especially if they might fringe on unique or odd. You don’t need your friends looking at your spouse like they are some adult freak show performer at the next cookout.
4. Praise your spouse. Sometimes we spend too much time talking about what our spouses don’t do and forgot to compliment their good qualities. Again - watch the details. Brevity, people.
If you are going to talk about the bedroom parts of your marriage, treat it like a verbal burlesque show. Only give enough information to get your point across without giving them the money shot!
