Look Honey - Boobs!

Posted by Heather on May 14th, 2008

On the sitcom Till Death there was a scene where a wife pointed out breasts on TV to her husband much to the dismay of the other men in the room. To be honest, I don’t think I have to take the time to point them out to my husband, he has a well-honed rack radar. It doesn’t bother me so much because after 6 years of marriage I still get oogled more than any hottie on tv or out on the street.

I know women who really hate it when their men look at other females. Perhaps it would bother me if my husband looked at women in a lascivious way but it’s never more than a passing glimpse and it’s never when we’re engaging in conversation. The day that a cute tush interrupts my delightful conversation, is a day my husband will live to regret.

But still after all this time, it surprises me what my husband finds attractive. I’ll point out a person that I think is good looking and my husband says “too skinny” or “she has a mean looking face”. Lucky for me, my husband likes curves.

Now he, on the other hand, has my type down. I pretty much like guys that look like men. I like scruff, casual clothing, dark hair and blue eyes. And, go figure, that’s my husband! He will now I find a guy attractive before I even notice. Thanks honey, for pointing out the eye candy.

Are you ok with the amount of looking your spouse does? Do you ever feel like it gets in the way of your relationship?

Not really. He doesn’t do too much of it, or at least not too obviously. And, like you, when I try to point out someone I think he’d find attractive, I’m usually wrong. He likes dark, curvy chicks (lucky me!!!). I tend toward bald, blue-eyed and scruffy. Lucky him. :)
