I just found your blog and I love it. As far as work goes, My Husband and his family (brother and parents) own two restaurants together. While DH and his brother physically run each location my MIL and FIL are heavily involved in the process off location normally. He is currently only home two evenings a week. I generally ask how his day at work went and if the restaurants were busy, but most of the time we don’t heavily discuss the details of either of our’s work life. We already spend more time there than we would like to, so its nice to come home and not have to discuss and relive the ramifications of the day unless venting is needed or input is wanted. I’m okay with this and he is to.

We both work at home - and together on some of our projects none the less…. so we both seem to know what is going on with eachother most of the time. Sometimes, it is almost too much. Where is the mystery?

I don’t have to ask too many questions. My husband is very talkative, and unlike most guys who need a few minutes to unwind after work, he starts talking about his day from the moment he steps foot in the door. I know just about everything that goes on throughout his day - unhappy clients, office drama, what he had for lunch, etc.

I love hearing the gossip and drama at my husband’s office. THat’s the only thing I miss from the 9-5!
